Yuuka Nanri

1st is Yuuka Nanri- What really got me to like her is her song Akatsuki no Kuruma (The wheel of dawn) with FictionJunction (Yuki Kajiura’s band). Actually she sang lots of songs (with FictionJunction) from Gundam Seed Destiny. I think the most famous song is Silly Go Round from .hack//roots. And once, I searched for her in wikipedia and I found out that she took professional voice lessons. Oh, and when you search for her songs, the artist is FictionJunction Yuuka (short for FictionJunction featuring Yuuka)

Houko Kuwashima

2nd is Houko Kuwashima- For me, her most memorable work was being Stellar Louissier’s seiyuu (from GSD, sorry I’m just so addicted to it!). I also searched for her in wikipedia and I found out that she also did male voices. What really got me to like her is her song Shinkai no Kodoku (Solitude of the Ocean Depths), Stellar’s image song from GSD. Try to listen to it (I actually cried when I first heard it, the song is full of sorrow)

Maaya Sakamoto

3rd is Maaya Sakamoto- She’s really a famous singer and seiyuu. I really like her because she’s Lunamaria Hawke’s seiyuu (I’m so addicted to her) from GSD. And she also won a lot of awards for her work. And she looks pretty too!

Kenichi Suzumura

Kenichi Suzumura is a vocal actor born on September 12, 1974. He is affiliated with Arts Vision, a talent agency in Japan that employs lots of highly professional seiyuus. His television animation debut was back in 1994, in a TV show called Macross 7, a sequel to The Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Kenichi Suzumura is part of this group called STA MEN, with Junichi Suwabe, Daisuke Kishio, Hiroki Takahashi, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Makoto Yasumura, and Kosuke Toriumi.

* He has worked with Takahiro Sakurai on various occasions, in the animations and BL Drama CDs. Currently, they host a radio show together with Miyu Matsuki called Cherry Bell. He is also a friend of seiyū Hiroki Takahashi.
* His younger brother, Masaki Suzumura works in film production and has featured with Kenichi Suzumura several times on seiyu radio shows, such as Cherry Bell. Many fans were surprised as his voice was very similar to Kenichi Suzumura’s but a little higher in pitch.
* Suzumura is excellent at cooking. He was going to get a license to become a chef before he went along to a seiyu audition, for which he unexpectedly got picked.
* He loves the ice cream ‘pino’.
* He has been brought up moving constantly to different areas of Japan. During his childhood years he has lived in Niigata, Osaka, Okayama, Fukuoka and other areas. He admits his Kansai-ben is not perfect, but still uses it heavily in normal speech.
* He has two dogs, Ivy and Momo. He frequently orders clothes for them on the internet.
* In December 2003, Suzumura cycled a distance of about 200 km from Nagoya to Osaka in 24 hours 30 minutes approximately (including time for sleep, rest, eating) with Radio Osaka. The moment he arrived was broadcast live on radio.
* He debuted as a singer on 8 October 2008 with single called ‘INTENTION’. He also released his second single ‘Atarashii Neiro’ on 4 February 2009.
* He made a guest appearance in ghostnote’s PV of the song ‘櫻道’ (sakuramichi) in 2009.

Sanae Kobayashi sang the first ending themes of Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito and Hand Maid Mai. She also sang the fifth ending theme of Ichigo 100% Special, and I think she also sang this song from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch entitled Ankoku no Tsubasa.

Being a total passive person to the seiyuu scene sometime last 2007, I didn’t know what a seiyuu was. To be honest, I didn’t bother to even think about who voices whoever anime character there is. It was actually through Wolfram Von Bielefeld that I actually excerted effort to know the seiyuus and that was when I came across the awesome seiyuu, Mitsuki Saiga.

Mitsuki Saiga is a Japanese Seiyuu working for Ken Productions. Born on June 12, 1973, she celebrated her 36th birthday last month. Saiga has a total of 3 Albums namely Luster, Atmosphere and One. The most recent One was released sometime last December. It the first album of Mitsuki Saiga feat. Just. She, along with Kazuya Nishioka had their first live concert on the 23rd of December last year and the concert featured their album, One. Another thing, the DVD version of the Live Concert was released last April 4 and it is now available in the web [and in Japan, of course].
